In this project we are trying to help the poor farmers of Barut Location in Nakuru who are in need of support in order to drill a new borehole for water.
Many women are forced to walk up to 4 km to seek for water and the water they find is often not good for human consumption but since they do not have any options they do consume it hence the rising of various diseases such as typhoid fever among other water borne diseases.
What is your project and how will it help?
The project is the drilling of a new water borehole and building of water reserve tank which can distribute water to the over 1000 people living in the western part of the location who are badly struck by drought or water shortage every now and then.

Funding for drilling.
Funding for building water tank
Funding for basic piping to a common ground for general distribution

- 1000 waters pipes
- 100 bag of normal cement
- 20 bags of water proof cement
- Approximate ( Kshs 1.8 Million) = USD 18,000 for drilling contractor
