Sedikong sa Lerato is a community-based organisation located in Tooseng Village in the Ga-Mphahlele area of Limpopo province, South Africa. The organisation assists vulnerable children and aims to transform rural communities. Programmes address issues of hunger, food insecurity, child and youth development, and unemployment. Currently, the organisation looks after 347 OVC (Orphans and Vulnerable Children) who are given two meals a day at the organisation’s drop-in centre. Sedikong Sa Lerato runs a large organic vegetable garden the produce of which is used to feed the children and sold to the local community. The organisation also runs a local bakery.
