Charlotte Peppitt says: Hi, I am really interested in your offer of crocs. We organise a backpack project which we send to our projects in Africa. The backpack contents are educational however, we also put clothing and flip flops in. As you can imagine Flip Flops are quite hard to come by in the winter. The shoes you are offering would be hard wearing and keep the children's feet aired as well. They would be ideal in Liberia where the weather is hot, humid but teh rainy season lasts for up to 8 months. We travel north to Kingussie every 4 - 6 mnths as we have a storage container there so could collect these items for you. I look forward to hearing from you. Many thanks, Charlotte

    Blythswood Care Verified non-profit organisation
    (Verified non-profit organisation)

Phil Shorthouse says: Blythswood Care is a Scottish Christian charity, with our head office in Evanton near Inverness. I am based in the UK South regional office located in Rochester, Kent, and responsible for Corporate Aid and Logistics and monitoring the Globalhand website. We are involved in humanitarian and general relief aid, mainly in Eastern Europe and The Balkans. We work with indigenous partners. We also respond to disasters such as the Tsunami and flooding in Mozambique, and now Haiti through partners.
Initially our help to Haiti was financial via Scottish partner which was helping before the earthquake with thousands of meals a day.

We have now been asked to work with Crossroads and send a container of medical aid, hygiene, educational and domestic items via our Bucket of Love programme and suitable clothing and footwear.
Your donation would fit the footwear criteria perfectly.
We have two shops in Inverness and our vans travel through Inverness daily so we could pick up the footwear, should you decide to donate to Us.
    Many thanks. Phil Shorthouse. C.A.L.M.
