Shipping of baby hats to Nepal

Who are you trying to help? What issue are you trying to address?

We have collected around 2,000 pieces of hand knitted baby hats from HK public, which are to be designated to Save the Children Nepal office at Kathmandu, which will then be distributed to the rural areas in Nepal.

These hats will need to be shipped within March 2010 from Hong Kong. We hope to be sponsored in kind or in donation re shipping charges.

    Richard Payne says: It's great to hear of this donation, and we hope you will find a way to get them to Nepal. Given the relatively small volume, would postal mail be the cheapest option? Alternatively, Cathay Pacific / Thai Airways / Dragonair / Royal Nepal Airlines currently advertise freight services from Hong Kong to Kathmandu.
