Non-profit organisation focusing on the empowerment of African people and institutions operating in the area of environmental management and sustainable development. EASD focuses on the development of people, the design and management of appropriate African sustainable development institutions and the strategic use of information technology and knowledge management in sustainable development. EASD provides: information, project services, customised training and facilitation, working to make the best use of African skills from current institutions and applying them to the development of new institutions. EASD also works with international organisations such as UNEP, UNDP and the World Bank. EASD works alongside various NGOs, the government and the private sector.
